My name is Edie Appleton, and I am the creator of Unicorn Play Academy. I’m a therapist and passionate advocate for mental health who has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how the right tools, resources, and encouragement can help people build confidence, strengthen skills, and move toward healing.

Unicorn Play Academy was created to make learning more approachable, engaging, and maybe even a little whimsical. Whether you're preparing for an exam, supporting a child, growing as a therapist, or looking for practical mental health resources, my goal is to provide tools that are both evidence-informed and easy to use.
